Our Polyethylene Porch Posts are weatherproof, rot proof, insect proof, super low maintenance, and very strong. 25-year warranty against defects in material and workmanship.   Order Sample.

These exceptionally durable Posts have a thick, tough polyethylene shell with pleasing matte surface. They are finished in white but can be painted. Please do NOT confuse these quality Posts with the slick, hollow sounding vinyl Posts offered by others.


A galvanized steel pipe (20 gauge for the 5" post, 13 gauge for the 6" post) provides strength. Polyurethane foam filler between pipe and shell ensures the integrity of each Post while also easily passing the "knuckle test" (they sound like wood when you knock on them!) The 6" Post is tested to carry a load of up to 5,000 lbs. The 5" Post is rated at 1,300 lbs. See Choose the Right Posts if you are unsure which Post to order.

Top and bottom Mounting Plates and installation instructions are included but a Deluxe Aluminum Installation Kit with Trim Sleeve is also available.
