Exceptional Newel Post Premium high density Polyurethane permanently moulded around a 2-5/8" diameter steel pipe core. Our Polyurethane Newel feels, sounds, installs, and paints just like wood. Optional Top Caps       Ball Top Cap (shown at right) - Made of high density polyurethane with 3/16" deep bottom recess to fit over top of this 4-1/4" Newel. Width at base is 4-7/8". Overall height is 6".       Pyramid Top Cap (shown above left) - Made of PVC with bottom recess to fit over top of this 4-1/4" Newel. Width at base is 5-3/8".
