3-1/4" PVC Wood Core Handrail

A solid hardwood core gives our PVC Handrail resistance to bending while AZEK® PVC provides permanent protection from the elements! A 1/4" deep bottom channel accepts either PVC or wood Subrails. This ensures total protection of the wood core, even from driving rain, and is an integral component of the Vintage Woodworks Balustrade Installation System. If a Subrail is not installed the bottom of the wood core should be painted.

To insure no wood is exposed on the ends, the first 6-1/2" of each end of our PVC Wood Core Handrail is 100% AZEK® PVC. This allows you to cut up to 6" from each end and still have only PVC exposed on the ends. During installation cut equal amounts from each end of the PVC Wood Core Handrail to achieve the final length required.

3-1/4" wide x 1-7/8" tall with 2-5/8" wide bottom channel.
Fits 2-1/2" or smaller (net width) Balusters.
Use with PVC or wood SR3 Subrail.
Rails shorter than 6' are not returnable unless defective.
