 Sloped-top Bottom Rail (for wood & PVC Balusters) Exterior Bottom Rail design is critical! Our Sloped-top Bottom Rail provides proper water drainage, simplified installation, and traditional styling. The final result is substantial, effective, and authentic, while avoiding premature water damage.  2-piece Flat-top Bottom Rail (PVC Balusters only) When using Flat-top Bottom Rail for outside applications, both Rail and Balusters should be made of PVC. Otherwise, inadequate water drainage can create premature rot. Also, it will not look as traditional nor as substantial as our sloped-top style. |
