Custom Lengths:
We make our Spandrels (and compute prices) to the nearest 1/16th inch! Please use a steel tape for measuring accuracy.

Framing/Rails:
With 3/4" thick scrollwork, the top and end framing of Fretwork and Cutout Spandrels is 1-1/2" deep (#54-320). 1", 1-1/4", and 1-1/2" thick scrollwork will have 1-3/4", 2", and 2-1/4" deep top and end framing, respectively. Classic Spandrels' top and bottom rail sizes are listed with each item and can be changed on request.

Material Recommendations:
For exterior use, please consider Cypress or AZEKŽ Cellular PVC and/or at least 1" thick cutwork. For interior painted Spandrels we recommend Poplar.

Turned Parts:
Unless specified otherwise, turnings are light-colored, smooth hardwoods, regardless which Spandrel material type is ordered.

Pricing:
You can order most of our Spandrels in optional thickness and/or material type. See Product Options. The upcharge for optional materials for Classic Spandrels is half our regular upcharge, since typically only the rails of Classic Spandrels are made of the optional material. Some very short Spandrels may require a minimum charge. If so, we will advise before finalizing your order.

Split for Shipping:
To avoid possible extra shipping charges, you may choose to have us split your longer Spandrels. See Split Spandrel Installation.
