Wood & PVC Door and Window Cap

Each Door & Window Cap is made with "returned" ends; that is, the Moulding profiles continue on each end. You can use Cap 5451 with any size of existing Casing (trim). Overall Cap height of 4-1/2" to 7-1/2".

Ideally, length B (flat middle piece) should equal your overall door or window width to the outside edges of your Casing (trim) so that the ends of the Cap's flat piece will be flush with the outside edges of your Casing. Because the Cap's top Moulding extends on each end 1" past the flat piece, please order overall Cap length A at 2" more than your overall opening width including Casing.


Door Caps and Window Caps are also available in AZEK® Brand Cellular PVC. That's perfect for exterior Door and Window Caps, as AZEK® will never crack, warp, or rot!

We also have Cap Mouldings.

Caps are shipped fully assembled but individual components can be ordered separately. If you buy individual components you must miter the mouldings' ends if you want them to "return" to the wall.
