Standard Newel Installation Kit

Newel Installation Kits are available with Cypress, PVC, Poplar, Oak, or Cedar mouldings. Full Kits include 4 metal brackets (machined aluminum) with screws, 4 pieces of mouldings, and instructions. Half Kits (for use with Half Newels against walls) include 2 metal brackets (machined aluminum) with screws, 1 full piece of moulding, 2 half pieces of mouldings, and instructions.                
Metal brackets secure Newel Posts and are then hidden by the mouldings. Moulding may be trimmed during installation to fit smaller Newel Posts. Installed Mouldings are 2" tall and project 11/16" beyond the Post.

Newel Installation Kits are available for the following Newel Posts:
4" (3-1/4" actual) Hemlock Newels
5" (4-3/8" actual) Hemlock Newels
4" (3-1/2" actual) Cedar Newels
6" (5-3/8" actual) Cedar Newels
(If your Newel Post is larger than 5-3/8" you can specify the 8" size below and then trim to fit during installation.)                                                                 CA Resident WARNING
