Start a Synthetics page that could hold all of our current synthetic options (info about the materials & links to products in them). Then, for a general place like FAQ, we could link to that page & keep it updated instead of having to add a new paragraph to FAQ every time we have a new material.

Most of our Products are available in AZEK Brand Cellular PVC, THE wood alternative! at our regular item listings (see Material Type drop-downs). This wonderful material is vastly better than hard, slick vinyl which looks and feels like plasic.

The Material Type dropdown at each product listing will indicate whether or not that item is available in PVC.

We stock a complete line of AZEK Brand Trimboards. Think of this as maintenance-free lumber for all your outdoor projects. Replace a wooden house trim board with an AZEK Trimboard and you'll never replace that board again!

Additionally, we stock a great line of Polyurethane Wood Core Porch Post. These great Posts feature a wood core fully protected by a thick, strong outer layer of tough polyurethane. This is the perfect combination of strength, freedom from routine maintenance, and ease of use. The wood core permits easy, permanent installation of Handrails, brackets, Spandrels, etc. The polyurethane outer layer is so perfectly formed around the core that it is nearly impossible to tell the difference from a turned wood posts, even when touching! Because this is a specially formulated, denser polyurethane, it resists dents and scratches as well or better than wood, holds paint much better, and is completely impervious to attacks by insects or weather.

Wood IS wonderful but if you're looking for almost no maintenace, try our synthetic materials. As the years roll by you'll look smarter and smarter!
