(Include drilling for addition of epoxy treatment to ends of components. removal of rotted wood, use Abatron hardener, and then bondo.)

It's usually not worth the effort to salvage damaged Balusters unless the damage is slight. Howver, because they are more expensive, Porch and Newel Posts repairs are often worthwhile.
