Porch Example #15
(nsnf)
Repeating Cornice Brackets in pairs are very traditional. These are set 12" from the center of one pair to the center of the next. Likewise, it's 12" from the center of the Post Face Bracket to the center of the first pair of Repeating Cornice Brackets, but this distance could be less.
At 10" on center, the Balusters are further apart than we prefer. If
this was done for budget reasons, consider using the 2" size, spaced
more closely. Or (if safety is not a factor), since the 3" size
Balusters are so nice, just wait until later to add the balustrade.
It'll make a totally unique Christmas present!
