Running Trim works well between Repeating Cornice Brackets. Also, we've omitted the Post Face Brackets for this example. While the Repeating Cornice Brackets work well, we feel it would be a more attractive porch with Post Face Brackets. However, we want you to see these differences for yourself.

Notice also that the Posts are a plainer style (and thinner), the Balusters are more widely spaced, and there's no Spandrel. Thus, we have a rather simple, understated porch.
