When the List html functions will not work, generate a list using bullets (•). Using Bullets allows us to control line spacing and text wrapping. Below is a list generated with the unordered list function.
Grocery Store List
- Apples
- Grapes
- Oranges
- Watermelon
- Apples, bananas, oranges, limes, lemons, grapes, cherries, pears, figs, watermelon, melons, tomatoes, onions, green peppers, okra, & cauliflower
Now here is the same list generated using bullets. Notice how we were able to add a title.
Grocery Store List
• Apples
• Grapes
• Oranges
• Watermelon
• Apples, bananas, oranges, limes, lemons, grapes, cherries, pears, figs, watermelon, melons,
tomatoes, onions, green peppers, okra, & cauliflower
To create the bullet list, we need to set styles in the caption under javascript. standard for bullets and wrapping for bullets is as follows
<STYLE TYPE="text/css">
<!-- .bull { padding-left: 18pt; }
.bull2 { padding-left: 26pt; } -->
</STYLE>
In order to get • to appear type the following:
•
<font color=8C2118; size=+1>Grocery Store List</font> <br />
<span class="bull">•</span> Apples
<span class="bull">•</span> Grapes
<span class="bull">•</span> Oranges
<span class="bull">•</span> Watermelon<br />
<span class="bull">•</span> Apples, bananas, oranges, limes, lemons, grapes, cherries, pears, figs, watermelon, melons, <br />
<span class="bull2">tomatoes, onions, green peppers, okra, & cauliflower </span>
