WHY HAVE QUANTITY BASED PRICING?
As a service to our customers we try to avoid minimum order quantities. We know if we do a good job with your small orders you'll be back and you'll tell your friends about our great products and service.
However, we lose money on small orders due to the high cost of processing and shipping relative to their value. We could just increase our prices, but then we would be charging too much on larger orders for those items.
The solution we favor is quantity based pricing. We think it's the fairest approach, everything considered. It allows ordering in smaller quantities while holding the line on price.
When placing an order, the Quantity Based Pricing dropdown will indicate the extra fee (if any) for the amount of product you are ordering.

EXAMPLES
If ALL items are identical in material, design, height, width, and thickness you may combine lengths (for items sold by the foot) or quantity (for items sold by the each) at the Quantity Based Pricing dropdown. Otherwise, each combination must be considered separately when selecting from that dropdown.
Order Example #1 - Sold by Length
One 5’ long item
One 6' long item in same material, design, height, width, and thickness
Items are identical in material, design, height, width, and thickness so choose the correct combined total footage selection from the Quantity Based Pricing dropdown BOTH times you make a Length selection. We will only add ONE Quantity Based Pricing charge.
Order Example #2 - Sold by the Each
One item in Oak
Three items in Pine but otherwise identical to the Oak item.
Items are NOT identical in material so select from the Quantity Based Pricing dropdown once based on quantity of the Oak item and again based on quantity of the Pine item.
