BEFORE Sometimes more is better! The distance between Spindles at Post tops and bottoms does not compliment this otherwise substantial wrap around porch.

AFTER Adding more Spindles at the top made a huge difference. Texas Special Brackets (installed horizontally) on either side of each Post and 3" thick 17" Corbels used as Post Face Brackets also convey substance. Entrance to porch was widened and a Lily Langtry Fretwork Spandrel was added here to highlight this area. It is our humble opinion that more Balusters at the Post bottom area would also be in order.

CLOSE-UP Notice the excellent depth created by the Post Face Corbels. These add a wonderful third dimension to the top of this porch.
