BEFORE
Like many others, the porch on this house has a knee wall. It was also missing handrails down the steps.
AFTER
Notice the side beam above porch was left exposed rather than remaining covered in siding as before. This visually defines the porch while also minimizing the triangular area of siding at the end of the porch.
CLOSE-UP
A portion of knee wall between each pair of posts was replaced with Square Balusters. This opens the porch, making it more inviting and providing additional visual interest.

"To the Folks at Vintage,
A couple years ago my son purchased an older house with the intention of fixing it up. The porch has long been in need of repair and this past year he asked for my help in returning the porch to its former glory.
"It was extremely difficult to find porch products that would compliment the size and stature of his rather large house. Thanks to Vintage Woodworks, we were able to accomplish our intentions.
"I've enclosed before and after photos. As you can see, it's just what the house needed. Thank you again for all that you did to make this happen.
