Warranty
Subject to the terms, conditions and limitations stated herein, manufacturer warrants to the original purchaser that these Columns will be free from manufacturing defects which cause the product to rot, delaminate or excessively swell during the applicable warranty period. This warranty shall be effective for a period of 25 years from date of original purchase.
This warranty does not cover painted finish or coating applied to Columns by the original purchaser or any third party. Failure to adhere to manufacturer’s recommended guidelines for application of painted surfaces shall void this warranty. This warranty does not cover improper installation of Columns or its structural supports. In the event of a claim against this warranty, proof of purchase, with date, will be required to affect such a claim. Installation cost not included. Manufacturer gives no other warranty expressed or implied.
Painting and Finishing
Caulk where required using Siroflex brand Sealant and Adhesive. (Included in Installation Kit.) Putty fastener holes using acrylic putty or caulk. Lightly sand or scuff surface of column. Clean surface of Column to remove any dirt or hand oil residue with light detergent and water, denatured alcohol, or window cleaner. Be sure to remove soap residue with clean water. Apply one coat of 100% acrylic exterior primer and one or more finish coats of 100% acrylic exterior paint. Do not paint Columns installed outside in darker colors (those with an L-value of 56 to 0) where 'L' is a measure of light reflectivity ranging from 100 (white) to 0 (black).
