Mahogany
We use solid, kiln-dried Red Honduran Mahogany. However, prior to staining it can sometimes look more tan than red. Staining will bring out the red shade, or a browner stain can be used to bring out the tan more than the red. Additionally, it may not be from Honduras, so many people refer to this as Genuine Mahogany. This means it is the highest quality like that which is from Honduras and not one of the "look-alike" species of Mahogany.
