Bringing the 'Porch' Inside!

Previous | Table of Contents | Next

Many traditional porch parts work wonders inside!

For example, you can use Posts, Balusters, and Railings to create a room divider. Or you can simulate an outdoor porch by installing Posts, Balusters, and Railings against a wall, or perhaps a foot or two away from a wall, with space behind for plants, etc.

Let your imagination be your guide, and have fun bringing the porch inside!

Post at the end of a Hall
It never ceases to amaze us! Just about any room becomes totally captivating with the simple addition of Turned Posts. Use our Posts to highlight a special area in your home! Shown in the photo above are two Turned Posts working their magic at the end of this hall.

A Room Divider
The entry hall above leads past the living room to the rest of the home. Notice how Turned Porch Posts are used to create a visual and physical division. Using Spindle Spandrels above the Balustrade components below, this living room has been effectively set apart and thereby made special!

Foyer turned Formal Entry
The same approach as in above photo was also utilized for this foyer. To create a more formal entry area, Spandrels are set below a false beam. Our Eloise Spandrel is featured between the Turned Porch Posts.
