Cedar is an excellent choice for exterior projects due to its natural weather and insect resistant qualities. However, Cedar Turned Balusters are only slightly more expensive that Hemlock in most sizes.
Our 2" x 3" Cedar Balusters are particularly cost effective. When installed with their wider sides facing out they are visually much more substantial than 2" Balusters but are priced much less than 3" Balusters.
